Film Panel on Fair Use

Bet this was fun. Elsa Bertet of Variety.com links to a panel entitled "What's So Fair About Fair Use," with contributions from documentary and feature filmmakers.

Sounds fairly enlightened, so I'm surprised you mentioned it.

It's worth noting that one of the panelists was documentary director Kirby Dick, who made a film about the MPAA ratings board. The MPAA later admitted to making infringing copies of Dick's documentary...and they didn't even bother to try and justify it as fair use.
