CNet has materials on why Google is the current buzz, while Microsoft Corporation may be a buzz-kill. Also, CNN Money has an article by Chris Taylor on why Google will not be the next Microsoft.
Interesting, but is Microsoft distracted by all of this? IBM hopes so:)
In any public scuffle between Google and Microsoft, Google could simply try to look good, and achieve its own kind of victory in that manner. Microsoft would not hold back its competitive tactics, and may beat Google in the end, but it would incite many hidden enemies. Google could use the publicity, Microsoft should figure out if PR buzz is worth unwanted attention.
And in other news, society remains intrigued by Paris Hilton's popularity.
