More (or Less) GPLv3 -- the LGPLv3

Linux Watch notes that the Free Sofware Foundation has released a new version 3 of the Lesser General Public Licence, which is used with libraries and permits greater latitude for linking with proprietary software than does the basic GPL.

This tacks a new tier of complexity onto already-uncertain situation, since the basic GPLv3 is itself very hard to interpret, and now one must analyze its relationship to the revamped LGPLv3 as well.
