I expect that the audience for these works will be a bit specialized -- but they actually have significant implications for tech industries generally (patent issues) and for content industries (DRM questions).

The episode may test an old rule of Washington -- power lies in making things so arcane that no one who is not willing to invest considerable time and energy can possibly understand them or participate in the debate.
