Counterfeit Medicines

WHO has updated its estimates on how much of the world's medicine stocks are counterfeit. It ranges from very little in developed nations to 30% in the underdeveloped world.

One eye-opener: "medicines purchased over the Internet from sites that conceal their actual physical address are counterfeit in over 50% of cases."

SECOND THOUGHT: Perhaps "eyes-closer" would be a better description.
