The "Pirate Party" in Sweden (see here and here) is now offering Relakks, new "darknet" which gives you a new IP address via a heavily encripted VPN connection - all for about 5 euros a month.
It seems that the party's message has evolved a bit from its focus on copyright reform to now encompass privacy.
From a BCC article:
"There are many legitimate reasons to want to be completely anonymous on the Internet," says Rickard Falkvinge, chairman of the Pirate Party.
"The right to exchange information in private is fundamental to the democratic society. Without a safe and convenient way of accessing the internet anonymously, this right is rendered null and void," he said in a statement.
More riveting updates from me a bit later- after the Aspen Summit.
