Hance Haney of Discovery examines the EU's recent anti-Microsoft actions in the light of recent speeches by Competition Commissioner Kroes. His point:
Of course it is artfully stated, but [her] message seems to be that the goal here is to create jobs in Europe at America's expense, and, although they know it is bad and ultimatately self-defeating economics, America is just going to have to deal with it for the time being because the EU isn't sure what else to do.
