Tech Daily (subscription required) notes that the comment period is now closed for the Copyright Office Triennial review of the DMCA: to elicit evidence on whether noninfringing uses of certain classes of works are, or are likely to be, adversely affected by this prohibition on the circumvention of measures that control access to copyrighted works. 74 initial comments and 35 reply comments were filed; all are available online. Over the next month, hearings will be held in Palo Alto and Washington.
