TRUE or FALSE: The software economy, oriented as it has been around proprietary software, has been a tremendous source of innovation over the past 25 years.
Clearly, I think the answer is "TRUE," and I have trouble believing that anyone - including Richard Stallman - could claim otherwise with a straight face.
