Property Rights

PFF has long been an advocate of the Big Tent theory of property rights -- the idea that all IP-dependent industries should be working together, and of the Even Bigger Tent theory that these industies also have much in common with the defenders of rights in physical property.

Thus we are happy to see this message arrive in the InBox:

Americans for Tax Reform has created a property rights organization known as the Property Rights Alliance (PRA), which will work to bridge the gap between the intellectual and physical property rights movements. With recent court proceedings and a flurry of legislative activity on Capitol Hill, this group will now serve as a forum for those in both communities to regularly meet and discuss the most pertinent topics facing the protection of property. All are encouraged to bring handouts for this meeting.

***If you have an agenda item for the working group, please contact Scott LaGanga [slaganga@atr.org] at 202-785-0266***.

The meeting is Thursday, July 21 at 2:00 p.m. in the Longworth House Office Building.
