On Tuesday, Lamar Smith circulated a new version of H.R. 2795, the Patent Reform Act of 2005. There is still no agreement among the major players, and this version eliminates the changes in injunction standards desired by the tech industry.

No formal action is expected before the recess. The wrangling is not over.
