National CyberEducation Project

The University of Richmond is running a National CyberEducation Project:

[A]n interdisciplinary grass-roots effort to engage students, faculty, and administrators on college campuses in discussion of contemporary intellectual property issues. Because debates over the intellectual property issues that arise in the digital age often appear to reflect a new generation gap, the Project focuses on educational efforts that work to bridge that gap. The Project will produce conferences, articles, blogs, education kits, and other student-oriented, campus-centric programs and materials.
The project is run by the Intellectual Property Institute at UR and The Media Institute of DC. As part of the project launch, NCEP is:
planning a National File-Sharing Roundtable to be held on November 11, 2005. Participants from around the country—including musicians, technologists, and businesspeople, as well as legal experts—will use real-time videoconferencing to participate in a webcast roundtable debate on the milestone MGM v. Grokster decision and the future of music distribution.
