One of the things that I have run into in this debate about IP is something that I really haven't experienced in full force for many years--the "cool" factor. IP is square. The recording industry isn't playing nice. Peer pressure.

It's odd, that a debate about such dry stuff--intellectual property law--with all kinds of technical nuances and difficult problems, could spark this sort of juvenilia. Ah well. Fortunately it isn't all like that.

(I'm curious, how do you have justice without some kind of enforceable property rights?).
