Vernon Smith,

who is Professor of Economics and Law at George Mason University and a Nobel Prize winner, recently spoke on globalization, technology, and markets.

One of his points, highly relevant to IP: "The game of 'steal' consumes wealth without encouraging its reproduction, while the game of 'trade' sustains and grows abundance."
