Some... person has brought an antitrust suit against Apple, alleging that Apple's tying of music (iTunes) and machine (iPod) are unlawful.
Once, I was sitting out on the deck with all four of my cats. The sliding door was open four inches or so. Suddenly, there was a loud crack of thunder! All four cats tried to rush indoors through the narrow opening at once... It got very crowded, and there were a lot of furry writhing limbs tangled together.
On hearing of this suit against Apple, my mental state became comparable to this episode of cats rushing through the door. All kinds of reasons that this suit is deeply misguided came together in my head at once, and I am having trouble untangling them well enough to express them. More later.
