The President has signed H.R. 3632, the Intellectual Property Protection and Courts Amendment Act of 2004 (a.k.a. The Anti-Counterfeiting Act).

The law criminalizes trafficking in certificates of authenticity and other documents used to estabilish the legitimacy of IP products for the purpose of attaching them to counterfeits. The bill also gives copyright holders a right to civil relief, including injunctions.
